My blog is a Bitsa...a bit of this and a bit of that.HaHa.You never know what you may find in my 360 world.:)
The Death of our Beloved Y!360-Coming to your comuter in the 2nd half of 08 (apparently). Now I am not computer minded.I am ditzy with most tech stuff/talk.And you all know I hate being serious.I’m a jokester. But I have read and watched this stuff from yahoo itself. And no matter how many times I tried to look at it from different angles it comes out the same way.Y!360 the way we know it will be gone.I don’t want to log into my email to see this comment thingy.I don’t want it all intergrated.I want my 360 to be separate.I worked damn hard on mine as you all have on yours.Y!360 was fantastic the way it was.Now I believe that the big people in yahoo figured if they mucked up our 360 enough, as they have, we would be that frustrated and annoyed that we would accept these crappy changes when they come through.Typical of the yahoo big people though. Can’t pull their heads out of their memory sticks long enough to know they had the best blogging site ever.I know I loved blogging.Met some fantastic people along the way.But if no one can access your blogs to read them, what is the point? So now they are rewiring yahoo from the inside out.Because it’s what THEY want.Funny.I always thought it was supposed to be about what he PEOPLE want.As we are the ones that make yahoo what it is.Nothing will stop the rebirth of Y!Open. It’s set in stone.
This is from their page.Read it and go to the links.See what you think.
Update on 360 Transition and Timing
Hi Everyone,
Here’s the latest news on the transition from your 360 page to your new profile on Yahoo!: It will be taking place sometime in the second half of 2008. We don’t have specifics on the date to share just yet, but you’ll be among the first to know. For now just keep this in mind: 2nd half ’08.
I know you get a lot out of 360, and that there’s a good chance you’ve used it to deepen friendships and extend connections near and far. So, I completely understand that you might not exactly be “chomping at the bit” for the shift to the new system (i.e., that you might be dreading it on some level).
Well let me first say that it’s truly Yahoo!’s honor to offer a service you rely on to fulfill those requirements—keeping your friendships vibrant and even building new connections. Yahoo!’s promise to you is we absolutely won’t let that drop!
In fact, our upcoming (currently occurring) shift is based on these same core principles, but expands them across the entire Yahoo! network—so you can share your interests and activity with your community, and discover new content and experiences from your trusted friends. The approach gets a good description in the following articles and blog posts:
Yahoo Open Strategy – Web 2.0 Presentation
Yahoo rewiring itself from the inside out
For example, your Profile will be integrated into the new Yahoo! Mail welcome page which will surface messages from the people who matter to you most. Additionally, you will see Updates from your important connections helping you to discover new content and activities in real-time.
As part of Yahoo!’s initiative to open-up, users will be able to add applications from Yahoo and third parties on their Profile page and various Yahoo sites and pages, including the home page of Yahoo.
Finally, let’s get down to the nuts and bolts of what this means to you and your 360 account. We’ll migrate your profile photo, your nickname, your friends lists, blog posts and blog comments.
We will continue to provide updates on the transition as we have more information.

There I was Friday night..enjoying just a few drinks with staff to celebrate the end of an 11 week term…..A Verrrrrrrrry long term.Knowing I had some schoolwork to get ready for when it starts back as well as finally being able to spring clean my place and chat till all hours.I thought whooohooo play time. Then it hit me Saturday morning. The nasty flu bug.The flu had me really sick till today.I had tried to jump on and chat but was not feeling 100%.And I was thinking today was Wednesday but turns out it’s Thursday. So much for hump day.haha.Just for the record…I only had 4 pre mixed bundys.lol.So here I am ready to play on yahcrap.Even if it’s only for a few nights.I’m hoping to be more organized this term cause that would give me more time to catch up with you all.And I have missed you heaps.oh do you remember the pink tongue lizard Jerry that we were looking after???He will be with us full time now.He still is having trouble eating because of his jaw.And although it has been raining the snail supply (his main diet)is still very slim. The really fantastic news is that at night he zips around like there is no tomorrow. He has never done that before. So I was really thrilled.Mind you if I wasn’t use to lizards I’d be freaking out under my doona with the scratchy noises he does.lol.Bluey has grown really huge as well. He’s not as fussy as Jerry.Anyway I’m gunna go.Just had some medicine.Hopefully tomorrow I will get to stop in and check your blogs and see how you have all been.Hope you are all doing fantastic.Huggers to you all.luv yas.![]()

Hi all.Missed you all so much.Unfortunately I have been unable to pop in for long on here. But most of you know my job and how demanding it can be.I hope you are all doing great.
Shanny is driving whenever she can now.She is a good driver. We are waiting for her car to get a road worthy done so she can drive to work. But the jerk who was supposed to do it never showed. No phone call or anything.(we have nicknamed him "no-show-joe") haha.So we might have to arrange to get someone else in to do it.The only reason we are still waiting is because it's a friend of a friend. But I will tell you all this...As soon as I get his work details I'm going to blog all about him hehe.My boys are great and still at school.Yay.
I should be up to date with my school work this week.I have completed the “how to make a powerpoint” powerpoint.Ron would find that funny like I did, because I had no idea how to do one.And this one is on how to do one on a iMAC.I’m going to be teaching the other aides how to make one on pupil free day next term.LMAO.I guess I should tell you all that in my travels I came across a garage sale.(I love those)and picked up a large Kermit the frog.I put the seatbelt on him and drove home. His flipper was out the window. I then took him to school for a student. But ended up taking pictures of him doing all these funny things before I handed him over.He is going to be the star of my powerpoint-finished product at work.I will put up some of the pics of him each time I blog.
Anyway time for me to get back to doing these irregular verbs/pronouns etc.I will be back and your messages really help me to keep on track. They keep me smiling.Thank you.Have a good weekend.![]()

Getting Even Joke.
One December day we found an old straggly cat at our door. She was a sorry sight. Starving, dirty, smelled terrible, skinny and hair all matted down. We felt sorry for her, put her in a carrier and took her to the vet. We didn't know what to call her, so we named her"Pussycat."
The vet decided to keep her for a day or so. He said he would let us know when we could come and get her. My husband (the complainer) said,"OK, but don't forget to wash her, she stinks." He reminded the vet that it was his WIFE (me) that wanted the dirty cat, not him.
My husband and my Vet don't see eye to eye. The vet calls my husband 'El-Cheap-O', and my husband calls the vet 'El-Charge-O' They love to hate each other and constantly 'snipe' at one another, with my husband getting in the last word on this particular occasion.
The next day my husband had an appointment with his doctor, who is located in the same building, next door to the vet. The MD's waiting room and office was full of people waiting to see the doctor. A side door opened and the vet leaned in - he had obviously seen my husband arrive. He looked straight at my husband and in a loud voice said, "Your wife's pussy doesn't stink any more and it's finally clean and
shaved, so she now smells like a rose. Oh, and, by the way, I think she's pregnant. God only knows who the father is!" Then he closed the door.![]()
Now THAT, my friends, is getting even.![]()

MICROSOFT has withdrawn its proposal to acquire Yahoo, Microsoft CEO Stephen Ballmer said in a letter to Yahoo made public today.
"We continue to believe that our proposed acquisition made sense for Microsoft, Yahoo and the market as a whole," Mr Ballmer said in the letter posted on the Microsoft website.
"Despite our best efforts, including raising our bid by roughly $US5 billion ($5.37 billion), Yahoo has not moved toward accepting our offer.
"After careful consideration, we believe the economics demanded by Yahoo do not make sense for us, and it is in the best interests of Microsoft stockholders, employees and other stakeholders to withdraw our proposal," said Mr Ballmer.
In the letter, addressed to Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang, Ballmer said that in conversations earlier in the week "we conveyed our willingness to raise our offer to $US33 per share, reflecting again our belief in this collective opportunity.
"This increase would have added approximately another $US5 billion of value to your shareholders, compared to the current value of our initial offer. It also would have reflected a premium of over 70 per cent compared to the price at which your stock closed on January 31.
"Yet it has proven insufficient, as your final position insisted on Microsoft paying yet another $US5 billion or more, or at least another $US4 per share above our $US33 offer.
"It is clear to me," Mr Ballmer wrote, "that it is not sensible for Microsoft to take our offer directly to your shareholders."

Well I tried to get around to everyones 360,but had troubles.I tried again this morning and still the same thing.Pages were mega flippin’ slow to load and I know for a fact it isn’t my lappy.I don’t even know why I am blogging seeing as though no one can read them.I know we are all going through the same problems.I just wish yahcrap would fix it up.When chat was chat…I remember yahcrap would close yahoo chat down for half a day to fix up the problems.I just can’t understand why they wont at least tell us what is going to happen.I have tried the other blogging places but for me yahoo was better.I miss being able to comment on your pages and reading your blogs.I hate it that I can’t receive your comments usually until a day to a week later.Sometimes they get through but mostly they don’t.Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I miss you.Have a great start to the week.
