This is Junior he went missing from Lake Macquarie area Newcastle on Easter sunday....He is recently desexed so that will be evident microchipped and Registered... Please if anyone knows his whereabouts contact Lake Macquarie Council Rangers or a Vet so we can have him home again...He is 16 months old very very friendly and we miss him greatly...

If you look carefully at the photo you will see a purple monster with a green head....He did not go away in fact he began to drift closer to me ...I did not change my position nor my angle of camera..So why if a trick of light did he come closer and change he was just a purple ball in my first shot..Then he began to take shape his head and face clearly discernible in green as he came through the air toward me.....

We were at Woods Reef in Barraba NSW....an old gold mining area..there is a beauty there I love and a quietness that is unnerving at times.... yet so peaceful....we go back often I am a rock nut and the colours there are so different..you get jersey caramels..toffee apple red and green stripes....wonderful pieces that look like bumpy marshmallow....some that are reminiscent of rocky road....others that are chocolate with banana centres..........Yes I am on a diet!!!!.....

Kim was always terrified of whether he would be capable of carrying my booty..... I am being good now looking and not taking.......We all have our own love of things his is gold detecting..mine will never make me rich only satisfy my tactile sense... the feel of rocks the curves the structure.... it is like holding ancient history in the hand......

My brother Tony is back.....good bad or indifferent he is here....His beloved Gemma died she was the child he never had..his daughter who was always with him..he is finding it very hard at the moment..we made a coffin and buried her under a Hibiscus and Jasmine vine..Gemma loved to run free in the bush...she really was a free spirit...So a nice thought is her running chasing the rabbits in doggie heaven.......

This is a lovely big dog that is cruelly mistreated by his owner who lives at The Willows Caravan Park west of Emerald in central Qld..The Sapphire fields... He is tied like this 99.9% of the time, he was off this rope once while we were there, to be taken and tied again out on the Sapphire diggings, because I was told he runs, normal I would say after his constant tethering.. on the way back he jumped or fell out of the ute and was dragged along the road, he had bits out of him everywhere including his face, the one time he should have been tied short he wasn't.. The winter dwellers told me he was 7 or 8 months old and this is his life, they will now have all gone..He cries and whimpers, he loves cuddles and being played with, he loves to be given affection and shown caring something I never saw his owner give him..The talk of those living there for the winter was he was beaten not cared for..Officers did come and check once after a complaint but neither he nor his owner were there so nothing was done... The water in picture is from me..his owner does not leave water out because he chews his bowl..so he was constantly thirsty and would drink a bowl in the morning, the winter is now over and I dread what he will suffer in the coming very hot heat.. The Qld RSPCA has only would you believe 12 Inspectors for the whole of that huge state and they are mostly in the urban areas, so the Dept of Primary industries and Fisheries are now supposed to make sure this dog is checked up on..I hope and hope and hope they will follow up and do something to remove him from this cruel situation..he has no bedding, he cannot escape his own faeces, he is owned not cared for and that is a cruel act in itself. The Qld RSPCA have acknowledged my complaint and I thank them for that, now please make sure it is acted on quickly..

Anyone out there who can do something more, do it..If you live in Sapphire or Rubyvale or Anakie or even Emerald do something positive/active to relieve this dog's life..

Just catching up with myself I guess more than anyone or anything...So much to do before we go away, I think flying makes it easier you just pack a bag get to the airport on time and relax in the hands of whatever God you have....But driving to a destination that will be a camping situation is a lot more involved..must remember to pack right....got to get water arranged where we are going the water what there is of it stinks..I love my Newcastle drop....because we need water to use for Sapphire hunting it is even more crucial to have plenty..Have checked the weather online it is already high 30s down to below 4 overnight so clothing is always a bitch.....But I am getting excited more by the minute and can't wait to get away...I have had a rethink about my girls and those big Eagles.. not to mention snakes... Thank God for my Dad he is going to babysit them as well as blueboy the fish so we can have a really stress free time........Max the cat will have to be lonely for a few weeks and put up with the neighbours feeding him...The roses have to be pruned so that is on the pre leaving agenda too....... Not to forget of course a Wedding not a funeral in Glen Innes where it will be horribly cold...Then the wonderful open road toward Queenslands warmth and wide open spaces........
